August in review

August is kind of a blur for me.  I know a lot happened but I can barely remember most of it.  Good thing there are pictures, or I wouldn't stand a chance.

First we started the month off with a bang, adding Hannah to our family.  I love her tiny head poking out from all that pink.

I turned 29!  We didn't have any 29 candles but we had 28 left over from last year so we just used those and added a little candle next to it to add to the year.

Grandma and Grandpa Hylton came to visit and help out.

I was going a little stir crazy one day so we took a trip to a petting farm.

Ryan thought he would show off by eating hot stuff.

 He only impressed himself.

There has been lots of quality Daddy time this month.

Aunt Elena came to visit and help.

 Kaitlynn started school.

Nanny and Papa came to visit and help.

Hannah and her cousin needed to have a photo shoot in their matching outfits.

The rest of Ryan's family was able to come and visit too.  First time every one was able to be all together in a couple of years.  Of course this photo is going to be outdated pretty soon.  Kayla is expecting a boy next early spring.

This didn't actually happen in the month of August but I figured if I didn't say something about it now than I might never get around to it.  We went on a mini Vacation with our neighbors.  They have a timeshare that we were able to use.  So much fun.  The kids loved the hot tub.  Really though it was more like a warm tub because something was wrong with the controls.  Worked out great for the kids, not so much for the adults.

We spent the day at an amusement park Silver Dollar City.  Our friends also had free passes for the park.  So much fun and so wet!  This picture doesn't do it justice. As wet as it was the kids did great.

There you have it.  August is updated.  I should be patted on the back.

Family pictures

While Ryan's family was out here visiting we all headed to the temple to take some family pictures.  It didn't go so well for our little family.  Olivia was the main culprit, but Ryan and I weren't much better.  We have too many people in our family now, to get every one looking at the camera at the same time!

"Sit down Olivia!"

"Jack move over here."

"Get your hands out of your face."

Great we got everyone looking but why is he pointing?!

Pretty sure this was when she pulled my hair.  Kaitlynn and Jack are fading by this point.

 What happened to Ryan?

Shoot! She escaped!

 Time to just give up.

More Hannah

I am lucky to enough to have good friends and neighbors close by.  I am even luckier that one of those friends happens to be a photographer!   Aubry was able to take some remarkable pictures and I am so grateful I can have these moments captured forever.  Here is a small sampling of Hannah's birth.
