Lost ipod

Right after we moved here we put our loan money to good use and bought another computer. One of the perks of buying a computer as a student is a free ipod. Ryan insisted that it be mine since he still had a good one, and his phone does all that stuff for him anyway. I didn't really feel a need for a new ipod but took it anyway. After a day I was hooked! I loved having it around.
That feeling only lasted three more days. Suddenly it went missing, and Kaitlynn was the last one seen playing with it. We asked her again and again where it was, and she kept saying it was on the stairs. It was not on the stairs. It was so frustrating, we didn't even have it a week and it was gone, completely and hopelessly gone. Two months have gone by with no sign of it.
Then suddenly a couple of days ago Jack admitted to his crime. I was sitting on the stairs with him when he pointed to the vent and told me he put daddys' phone down there and it was loud. I knew Ryan had his phone with him so that could only mean Jack had thrown my ipod down there. That little rascal! Two months later he still remembers it makes a loud noise when you throw stuff down there. We opened up the vent got a flashlight and took a peek, and sure enough it was there!

The missing ipod. We also found other small treasures down there. The ipod was not the first, I suspect. I know, not the best picture but ta-da we found it.

I miss everyone continued

Here are pictures of when my family got here to join in on the Missouri fun. We went to Nauvoo all together. It was pretty cool to share that with everyone, my only regret was there wasn't enough time for everything. We kind of wore the kids and ourselves out trying to see everything. It was fun though.

This is a really sad attempt to get everyone in the picture... cut off my moms head, my dad is covering his, and Michael is covering Jessie's, and I don't even know where Ray is. But you get the idea, there were a lot of people.

Sleep over with Grandma.

Swimming is about the only way to beat the Missouri heat.

This is a better picture of everyone. On our way to Nauvoo we stopped in Carthage.

Just a picture of people walking, but I like it because everyone has their left foot forward.

Nauvoo Temple.

Jordan is pretty sweet when he thinks no one is looking.

Only took him one trip, totally manly. Sorry ladies that bellboy is mine.

She wouldn't sleep for the four hour car ride but crashed as soon as we put her in this. Got to love the hair too. Funny girl.

She was awake for some of the site seeing.

Good Cameran face.

Michael liked taking pictures of Nauvoo flowers.

Joseph Smith Mansion. We didn't take the tour of it though, we had kids that were getting a little tired and the tour is through the Community of Christ and takes an hour and a half. I don't think we would have made it without melt downs, too bad.

He can be pretty sweet too when he doesn't know he is being watched.

Family picture. Grumpy kids.

I talked with Kaitlynn and told her it make mommy happy when she smiles for pictures. So she gave me this cheezer.

These last pictures are how the kids felt in the three o'clock heat.

Good trip.

I miss everyone

Two weeks ago our families came out to see us. I looked forward to this all summer and now its over. So sad. Now I am left looking forward to Christmas time. I have a ton of pictures from the week of fun but I thought I would spread them out for your enjoyment and because I don't have the patience to sit here and upload a thousand pictures at once.

It's easy to tell when tell when Jordan is around.

Ryan had his final exam still to take, this is how he studied.

Looking out at the Kansas City Skyline.

Big buildings

Maybe one of my favorite pictures, Devan is trying to teach Olivia how to crawl.

Ray was always busy, here he is making his wonderful apple pie.

yum.

We found a really big turtle to take a picture by.

Ray being busy again. He didn't think our patch of dirt was ascetically pleasing.

Kaitlynn playing and sharing our pet toads (they live in the window well).

Our pretty little garden now. Thanks Ray.

Nanny giving loves to Olivia.

Olivia showing off her perfect giggle.

Eating ice cream. It taste much better than they make it look.

Favorite Uncle.

Presents from Nanny. Kaitlynn begs to wear the unicorn nightgown every night.

Papa and Olivia.

Twins.

I made Jack mad the yesterday and he stomped off muttering he wanted his Nanny.

She can roll

I missed the first time she rolled over. Of course I walked out of the room to brush my teeth just when she did it! I came back in the room to see a very stunned Olivia. This is the second time she did it.
