Home Tour

Ok so we are starting a new blog since keeping up a whole website proved to be to much for me, plus this is free. We made the move here to Missouri and are feeling quite happy about our choice. The neighborhood is great, there are a ton of kids for Kaitlynn and Jack (and some day Olivia) to play with. Everyone has been helpful and kind. Other than the weird road systems and humidity, I think we will get along just fine here. I tried to put pictures in order for a tour of our home but I did it backwards so either start from the bottom and work your way back up or enjoy it backwards.

This might be my favorite place in the house. It may not look like much, but to me it is something wonderful, all of my craft and sewing stuff all in one spot!

Laundry area.

Our good little helper.

Basement Before

Basement After

Going downstairs

Kaitlynn and Jack's room with mirrored closet doors (weird)

She didn't approve of me taking pictures during nap time.

Olivia's little room

Ryan and Rebekah's closet and desk space

Other half of the Master Bedroom
"master" bedroom might be a stretch considering it is only a few feet longer than the kids rooms and not wide enough for our stuff. The only way our side tables would fit was sideways, we can almost open the drawers all the way.

Going upstairs

The dining area of the kitchen
(Ryan hung everything up all by himself and decorated- so manly)

The kitchen is alright as long as you don't want to use the fridge and the dishwasher at the same time. I am not complaining at all though, I guess these places just got dishwashers last fall!

First floor half bathroom. Please ignore the boxes, we might take care of those someday.

Front door entryway

Living room, Ryan did an awesome job hanging things up in our house. I did tell him that he wasn't allowed to start school until our house looked like a home. There were picture he never bothered to put up in our old home.

The view from the outside. Home sweet home.

Huzzah for a new blog! I'm glad you're there and settled. I'm a little sad we didn't get a proper good-bye, but oh well. I guess you'll just have to move back here in a few years so we can be friends again. (Please?!) Also, are you living on the Missouri side of the river now? I thought you were going to be in Kansas. Either way, I'll try to convince Nate to take us on vacation out there some day so we can see you. Kirsta Out.
